Bayfancy, one of the largest luxury residential projects under development in Hulhumale’, has announced the completion of the superstructure of its 18-storey building.
The completion of the structural frame marks the moment the development has attained its full height, from foundation to rooftop. According to the developers, this achievement reflects the team’s dedication to on-schedule delivery, superior engineering standards, and transparent project execution. Bringing future residents one step closer to enjoying a refined and contemporary lifestyle in Hulhumale’ Phase 2.
In a statement the company noted “Every stage of construction has been meticulously planned, documented, and shared publicly, allowing buyers to follow the project’s progress in real time”.
Construction began with a deep-pile foundation, completed on 12 December 2024. During which more than 350 piled were driven up to 12 meteres below ground to ensure long-term structural stability. By late December, steel sheet-pile shoring was implemented to reinforce and protect the excavation site. By March 2025, the basement and ground-floor slabs were completed, establishing a strong foundation for the building’s vertical progression.
The structure advanced steadily thereafter with the first floor being completed on 29 March, followed by key structure milestones such as the production of the 13th floor on 9th August, and as of September the full structural frame of all 18 floors has been finalized, marking the completion of the superstructure.
Bayfancy attributes the project’s smooth progress to precise planning and accountability, with materials procured in advance, overlapping workflows implemented across structural, masonry, and MEP phases, and dual safety systems maintained to safeguard all personnel on site.
The company in a statement added “Each milestone was communicated transparently, enabling buyers to verify that the project remained on schedule”.
Throughout the process, advanced engineering techniques, including deep-pile foundations, precision alignment systems, and continuous load inspections, have been applied to ensure the building’s structural integrity and long-term durability. Standardized safety measures such as edge protection, hoist barriers, and daily inspection were strictly enforced.
